My more successful cupcakes, however, were my fabric cupcakes! I got the idea off Pinterest and these were surprisingly easy to make. They are made from folded children's clothes, rolled and stuck together with sticky tape in paper patty pans. I think they have turned out wonderful!
I have also been catching up with friends in the last few days, which has been very reconnecting. I have shared plenty of laughs, but not one belly aching one where I have tears rolling down my cheeks just yet and that's the sort of laugh I'm aiming for this challenge!
Just to recap, the challenges I can tick off now are:
- start a journal
- bake cupcakes to share with my work colleagues,
- give someone a home-made gift
- send a care package to someone I care about (but I'm not sure how unexpected it will be, as the receiver may be reading this blog!!)
And the challenges I have made a start to include
- actively improving my german
- borrow a book from the library I've been meaning to read (that part is done) and finish it.
Seeing as I have been working at this for only a week, I feel like I am making surprisingly good progress. However I'm sure there will be a few hiccups along the way yet with some of the other challenges… Which ones do you think I will struggle with? (I'm thinking the technology fast….)
Good night everyone! x
